1) Do one of the following:
a) Open the 'Display' dialog box from the 'Start' menu:
1] Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2] Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3] Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
b) Open the 'Display' dialog box from the desktop:
1] Right-click anywhere on the desktop.
2] Select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu that appears. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'Settings' tab.
3) Click 'Change Display Type...'. (The 'Change Display Type' dialog box appears.)
4) In the 'Adapter Type' group, check to see if there is a .vxd or .drv file in the 'Current Files' field.
5) Click 'Cancel' and click 'Cancel' again.
